Philipp Weigand Jr. and his team welcomes you to an amazing journey through the world of spirits. The Weigand family is in the beverage business since the late 19th century. Starting as a local Cooper the family quickly adopted to the local needs of all kinds of beverages in a fast growing industrial Germany. Until 1962 Philipp Weigand Sr. distributed and distilled his own labels of different spirits (Whisky, GIN, Rum and Sweet Liquor).Other German specialties like the famous JÄGAERMEISTER and SCHINKENHÄGER were distributed by the family business.
Recession and the back then newly build IRON CURTAIN led to the temporary closure of the family business in 1962 due to a massive drop in customers. Willgerd Weigand (dad) led different beverage companies after his successful Master in Beverage Technologies. After 57 years Philipp Weigand jr. revived in 2019 the long tradition with the idea Antillas RON on the beautiful Caribbean islands of Curacao and Aruba.
